  1. Great suggestion. It's actually the Downingtown Exit, sorry I don't know the exit number. The exit puts you on PA route 100 and there are some newer places on 100 South of the turnpike. Hampton Inn comes to mind.

I beleive the Downingtown exit is 312

  2. That should work Bob. We have a parade so we'll try to stop by afterwards. That'd be great.

    HOW ARE YOU????

Send me an email or call me, or better yet, SEE YOU SUNDAY. MAN AM I GETTING OLD!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot already!!!

I'm Great! I'll drop you an e-mail to get caught up. It would be great to see you all.

    Bob

  3. I got to meet some of your fellow Grenadear friends last year. Really nice people!!!

Well, like I said, stop in any time and visit. I'll have to check out your schedule and if we're in the area and not practicing or something, I'll have to stop in and say hi to you guys!!!

I'm still DYING to get to a Bridgemen practice. That should be a lot of fun!!!

Holly your welcome at a Bridgemen practice at any time. Heck there's one this coming Sunday March 11th from 12 till 6 bring the whole Marino clan and check it out. The corps is having a Great Year!

    Spongebob b**bs

  4. It was a great day for a parade. Beautiful weather, a lot of fun people, either enjoying St. Patty's festivities or the spring thaw. Either way, happy people and a parade are a good thing!!!!

We thank ALL OF YOU that support DCA and all the corps that are trying their best to do what they need to do.

I also would like to request that everyone respect both the Skyliners and Fusion. Both organizations have been working very hard to concentrate on themselves and do what they each need to do without interfering with each other's progress.

Please do not post under either one of our topics hoping to start negative discussions because neither corps will participate.

Thanks again everyone and enjoy your St. Patricks MONTH!!

(with all the parades and festivities, we've decided to rename it St. Patty's MONTH!! )

    Hey Hol! Any Pictures?

  5. Tomorrow starts the spring training games. I'm sooooooo looking forward to this season.

I bought a new Red Sox cap (don't tell my wife). I think you'll approve of it Jim.

You know, if that truck was 10 feet or so longer, we could get almost half of the 2nd bari's on it.

If the truck was 20 feet longer we could get 3 or 4 of the lead sopranos heads on it.

(The gloves are off and they are circling near center ice.)

I think the truck would look best with the whole lead soprano line on it!

  6. Psssst. Here's a sneak peek at the true equipment truck design.

It's a fair approximation of how one side of the truck will actually look.

The other side of the truck features horn players and guard.

The front has historical corps logos: 1966 St. Andrew's Bridgemen, late 1970s Bayonne Bridgemen, and 2004 Bridgemen Alumni.

WOW! I didn't know we had 2 trucks!!

  7. Who cares how many points penalty for entertaining the crowd ???

That's why I pay to see drum & trumpet bands, to be entertained !!!!

I used to love to see drum & bugle corps but they don't exist any more, #### it !!:laugh:

Well you got to see one the other night. The Bridgemen play on G bugles!
