  1. Something doesn't have to be difficult to be visually effective. As far as I have heard, no one claimed it was a hard set. They just liked it because it was cool.
  2. Er... you mean Michael Gaines and Richard Saucedo. :P
  3. No, they don't. I have a friend who marches there, and I asked him that very question. Michael Gaines can write the drill perfectly fine after music has been selected/composed/arranged/whatever.
  4. I think everyone has nailed it. Complete and total integration of their concept from show to show. They have a very good staff and very hardworking, talented members. It has been a great formula thus far. We shall see in the upcoming years if their dominance will continue.
  5. I just thought it was cool because they did it with a mechanical hand, lol. I can understand your annoyance with it though. I always got annoyed when kids would do it at my high school. <**>
  6. Pretty much every little thing in Cavies 06. Like when the trumpets do the record skip, the battery skips also with some cool stick moves. I also like when they brush their shoulders off with a stiff, mechanical-like hand. That show is full of cool little moments B)
  7. It may not seem like a real emotional moment, but what gets me every time I watch it is the "Fight Club" sequence from Frameworks. It was the first show I ever saw (on DVD), and I love it everytime I see it. Even when I'm listening to the CD, I get really excited. I think it's pretty awesome, and it makes me smile :)
  8. After lurking for a month, I decided to register. I discovered the wonders of DCI a couple years ago, but I didn't really know the full extent of the activity until before last summer. My first live show was Atlanta. I was sitting in the section next to the infamous flooded one. I'm looking forward to going back to ATL this summer and seeing more awesome shows by the corps! :)
