Gonna be a good time, but I don't think Phantom's up to the task just yet. Give them two more weeks, and they'll probably be able to take them both down.
Personal opinion.
My instincts are predicting the Regiment pulling off an rendition of the Alfred Hitchcock movie... "The Birds" episode against the corps just ahead of them in the coming weeks. :P
But if not, love them just the same...

Oh...so envious right now! Hope the show goes off the line and you get a good drum corps fix!

Amplified and Over-the-top Narration...not because I am some sort of "Drum Corps Dinosaur", but because I think it is stupid and just weird!

So this will be the first time this season that PR will be meeting up with the Blue Devils and the Cavaliers. It will be interesting to see what PR has been up to in their couple of rehearsal days since Allentown.
It should be a great night of DC if the rain holds off!

Gubament cheese sammiches! LOL

Sure I love Dekalb, but man oh man. That has got to be one of the worst pit stadiums in dci. With the overhang being directly above the front ensemble, they may as well take the night off.
Great stadium with lots of tradition? yes.
Acoustically acceptable? nope.
You can get such a great read on the rest of the musicians...the pit already has the spotlight well enough as it is ....

I'd love to see Blue Bloo Red!
I think the patriotic answer is Red, White, and Bloo
:P

I have a feeling that most of what you're seeing now is a stigma, a remnant from the years when Regiment had bad visual packages.
Oh well. I still love 'em. Sue me.

And when folks get all dreamy about the 'fabulous' story-telling possibilities of this activity, they only make themselves sound like this guy... B)

I wonder if Crown could pull off a 'Bluecoats' style victory tomorrow tonight???

What a great story! I too recount times when the Kilties would show great respect for the flag as they exited the field. It is a tradition for sure, but it is respect which should be re-learned by all of us.

Thank you for sharing this...I too was touched by this story.
Nemesiscorps...this hits home my PM to you earlier today.

That was awesome! I was in LaCrosse earlier this past June and they did a similar segment which I saw in the hotel room.
I have to say this tho..."and push and push and squeeze"! That was funny.
Way to go Blue Stars...keep on working hard as there are a lot of people pulling for you!

Recaps are up...
It appears that the captions are flip flopping from last night. Their music GE scores climbed .7 with total GE up 1.1, but then their music ensemble score dropped .7 since last night. Visual performance climbed .6 as well since last night. Was this an indication of marching some holes last night?
It is a different night and different judges, but seems like there is no consistency in the scoring just yet until the chips have fallen together. Atlanta could not come sooner! :)

Crown's guard seems to be doing their part in keeping their corps in the thick of things at this point in the season.
-
Recaps are up...it is interesting to see the swapping around of these captions.
PR takes colorguard, Cadets 3rd
PR 3rd and visual GE
Cadets take percussion, and PR 2nd
When the final scores are this tight, I suppose there will be some interesting caption swaps too. I expected PRs GE scores to be higher than their performance scores, but it was flip flopped tonight.
