A certain younger member of the family made the comment that colorguard members are lazy.
My husband, a Blue Devil Vet looked around frantically and advised afore mentioned relative to start running.
We are seasoned, strong and feminine.
Intimidating? You bet!
We will work very hard between now and pre lims to deliver a performance worthy of our legacy.
Thanks for cheering us on and giving us the spark that will light this thing on fire August 10!
Here, here for the the colorguard. I have only seen parts of the show thru youtube. My parents are both marching with the Kingsmen alum, this year. My mother is in the honorguard and my father is in the soprano line. They come all the way from PA, to practice and march. I wish I could be there to see them, but I will just have to support them in spirit.

you can't forget the A60 corps, like the Siverbullets that were from Canastota, and the vvs eagles. they were some good corps.

Didn't Clinton have a guard this season. I don't see a score or placing for them. They have had a guard since 1972, what is going on?

Another year without a regional in New York. Maybe someone will step up before it's too late.
I agree, there has always been a regional in ny. I used to March with Clinton, years ago. I used to love to go to the regionals.
Does anyone know how Clinton did at championships? I looked on the midyork site and didn't see them listed for any show or championships. They used to be an amazing colorguard. Especially when they were directed my Navetta.
If anyone can help me that would be great.

I think that I would have loved to march with the Suburbanettes the year they did they biker chick with classical music or Chesapeake when they did the oriental show. I think that was 90-91.

Thank you Ryan for the play by play of the kingsman, both of my parents are marching with them and I wont be able to see the show. You actually brought a tear to my eye.
As for those people who don't think that they are a real drum corp, well we will just leave it at that. These men and woman from around the country whether they be original members or not have been working their ### off for months. They have sacrified blood, sweat and tears to produce what Ryan has described as incredible. So again I thank you Ryan from the bottom of my heart.
