  1. One thing was for sure last night - the bond between the generations of the Crusaders. We had alumni from every era and decade of our 70 years in attendance last night. This is what Drum Corps is about - straight up! You have to run a corps like a business but the very essence of it is the personal experience. Last night I witnessed the exchange of personal experiences from people who shared in the making of a 70 year history. I offer that this experience is not only found at the Crusaders but across all of the Corps that are active today or no longer with us. That is what will keep this activity alive. Remember and respect the past with an eye towards creating the future. I am very happy that the 2010 season is upon us!

  2. What an outstanding night! Over 500 alumni, friends, family, staff and members enjoyed a wonderful night for the Crusaders. The night started out with a silent and premium board auction and a performance by the Crusaders Senior Corps (what an entertaining performance!) Next was a great meal and game of Joe Ricci bingo. The Hall of Fame inductions were very special with Jim and Ann Hughes, Jason Maxner, Jerry Noonan and Ed Rooney being honored. Also, the Joe Ricci Volunteer award presentation to Linda Weaver was done in front of the Corps that she has outfitted for the past 10 years. The climax of the night was the Boston area debut of the 2010 Boston Crusaders. The Corps in one word - spectacular! The live auction was a huge success! Thanks for attending and supporting the Corps!

PS The new souvenir line up is superb! A couple of vintage shirts, new track jacket and the under armour polo shirts are sweet - great job Chris Berg!

  3. Getting excited for the season to begin! Crusader 70th anniversay Weekend#1 coming up this weekend. Camp starts Friday night, Golf on Saturday, Preview show with the debut performance of the 70th anniversary addition of the Corps followed by a party at the Corps Hotel!

Alumni be sure to attend and get your special free 70th anniversay alumni shirt!

  4. Crusaders were on fire tonight - word from the staff and listening to them over the phone from the 50 yardline!

As far as parents go, there are many that check out DCP.

The kids are in role when they perform, like all other groups.

We focus on the positive which is delivering a very entertaining product to the drum corps audience!

    Enjoy!
