Bang!!!! Ya shot the wrong guy. John Smith is correct. I'm on the right. So.....who's my "buddy" who's one of my very best friends in the Cabs Alumni Corps?!?!? Hell, their ALL my best friends!!!!!
Sorry, I meant right.
-
John, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Just like TennTux said, prayer is a powerful thing.
I would like to take a shot at the guy on the left, Richard Stanczak.

Is it safe to assume they are both members of a certain alumni coprs from Hawthorne NJ?

1976 General Butler Vagabonds
American International Open, Butler PA.
I am just off the right shoulder of the female DM, Barb (Yaracs) bailey, two rows up. Little 14 year old kid.
Curt Hawkins of sop soloist fame is in the second row of horns down, just left of center with what appears to be a white piece of tape on his nose.

Hey? Where did everyone go?................... Hello? Hello..........
I'm here HB, although I also started back to work after a three week layoff. I switched jobs, something us truck drivers have the luxury of, even in this economy. The company I was driving for, a window manufacturer, has gone from 5 plants the 1st of the year to just two plants and just yesterday announced that the one will be closing in 60 days. In total, over 1,000 people have lost their jobs since Jan. 1, 2009.
And now for some good news, well, if you live in Pittsburgh area, all we have heard for the last few weeks is G20. They had a 2 hour special last night on the local TV station explaining what G20 is. I watched it and I still not sure.
I do know to stay away from Duhntuhn.

This oughta be good. Ya might wanna explain the clue for those of us that are totally lost.
After the fact that is............
These movies were all produced by the famous Coen brothers. Sometimes you will see them as the Cohen brothers. Either way, they are both pronounced the same way.

A sweet, gentile lady, actually, former dancer and schoolteacher,
\
Hey, I know this lady, she was in the Van Halen video for "Hot for Teacher"!
-
Is this a clue or a diversion? heh.....
I do believe there may be a clue here somewhere.
-
Did #319 have anything to do with producing any of these movies?
Burn After Reading
No Country for Old Men
The Ladykillers
Intolerable Cruelty
The Man Who Wasn't There
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
The Hudsucker Proxy
Barton Fink
Miller's Crossing
Raising Arizona

Hey SteelCR, just noticed you marched with FRC in '80--did you know Mike Kumer?
Yup, I know Mike Kummer. His daughter Michalena married an old friend from Vagabonds. I still see him around at shows.
-
Also, I believe that they are standing in front of the Forum in beautiful Harrisburg NJ., I mean PA, sorry, but we from Pittsburgh think anything east of Harrisburg is NJ.
As far as the bars on the strap, that would make him a captain, unless he's in the Navy, then he would be a Lieutenant.

Here's a funny story about #3. My father-in-law is good friends with #3 and when I first started to come onto DCP, and when I saw #3's name, I figured it was a male. It was a good year before I realized differently.
Hey, funny story and a clue, #3 has a name that could be mistaken for a male.
By the way, once you meet #3, there's no doubt about gender.

now i have straight pipes
Isn't there noise level laws on running straight pipes?
-
Geez, I thought there was some rule preventing automatrons from marching. IF not why not?
Next thing you know they will want want electronics.
Come on now Baja, who would let electronics on the competition field? Just imagine the negative threads that would start right here on DCP if such a idiotic idea was to ever be mentioned in the DCI meeting rooms.
Silly Baja, amps are for bands, not drum corps!

enough of a scent to make you wish you were in another zip code!
Since you did not hear it, how can you be sure it was a fart?

I don't know the one on the left, but is that Reba McEntire on the right?

I've met Sandra Opie and that does not look like her at all.
I was going to give the clue of ARE they GONE now?

-The Marine D&B will be out of town that weekend... that's why they won't be there... :)
Thanks!
Jeff
That's why you scheduled it for that weekend, you know that if the USMC D&B was there, they would kick your ..............

After much scrutinizing of the clues, my guess for #316 is Claude Suthard.

I got the chair from Dennis Capello. When I brought it out to the field I was told that Bob didn't want it any more. Some one suggested giving it to Claude. I put it down behind him and he plopped down on it. I don't know why Bobby didn't want/get the chair?
When #316 took the chair, did he SIT HARD ?

Felix and Mighty Mouse? Tom and Jerry? Mickey Mouse and the Aristocats?
Itchy & Scratchy?
(for the younger folks)

His last name sounds like a top that some women wear and some shouldn't.
I know, it's Bob Tubetop.
Guess Who?
