  1. in my experience, the only real changes for indoor as far as dynamics are concerned is the arrangement (ie, making sure youre not drowning out the gym, arena, whatever, by going balls out with all sections, all the time), tuning, and sticks. all the heights (again, in my experience) are the same as they would be outdoors.

when i was taught, you had your basic 3, 6, 9, 12, and sometimes 15. then you had different zones on the snare, etc...

i think its all pretty universal though, when it really comes down to it.

  2. Well, how would you feel after losing an undefeated season? well, that all depends. if you go all season undefeated and lose right at the end, then i would say you peaked before you should have and fell off the wagon a little too soon. not saying anyone slacked off, causing the corps to falter that tiny little bit, but either your corps didnt progress, or the corps that beat you was that much better. Personally, I would still be proud of performing a great show and having a great season but I sympathize with those that were frustrated. 100% agreed.
  3. Almost definitely sure that was '04, because I was there too. It was absolutely INSANE! My best friend and I were there with my dad, and we stuck it out through the rain delay, ended up watching drum corps well past midnight.

That's highly possible, considering I went to every Eastern Classic from 2001-2007. It's easy to mix up years I suppose.

haha, and I just found the video of it on the-site-that-shall-not-be-named and saw that you posted a comment on it.

  4. I was there in 2003 at Allentown when the God's dumped almost a foot of rain on the Glassmen halfway through their show, lightning struck, forcing them to postpone the show until the storm passed, and then watched them march back out in soaking wet uniforms 2 hours later to do the show all over again.

They were the only corps to get rained on, and needless to say, they were a fan-favorite that night.
