Thank you for the review. Great details.

Hmm,
Loved all the shows that didn't win, but my favorite 3 are '85, '91, and '93.

Sounded a little off. Maybe he was using a Schilke 6a4a. There was a part where he sounded a bit sharp during a sustain.
MD&BC sounded good though
Talk about sharp, what about his America/ O' Canada. I was cringing at the intonation. But hey, the horn reacts differently up high. Much more difficult to tune on the fly.

B) Just like sluggo, I voted for myself.
Never seemed to work in school student council elections either. That's o.k. though, '92 is still my favorite. But I love them all.
Wish Steve Rondinaro would get his facts straight though. I was miffed in the '93 broadcast from Jackson, MS when he quipped "it's hard to belive that a corps that's been around since '48 took till '92 to win a title."
Doesn't he know there was corps before DCI and if you count the American Legion and VFW nationals that the Cavaliers have more 1st place titles than anyone????

Corps "posers" are everywhere.
I've met a few real winners in this caption.
A few claimed membership in the Cavaliers, but most in west coast corps with whom I didn't keep contact. But it's still pretty easy to flush these guys out.
My favorite was a trombone player in college in '94 that claimed membership in the '86 Blue Devils. He would have been 13 at the time. I asked, where's your ring and how come you never wear your jacket? Funnily enough they were both lost in a fire.

I am seeking the Finals week programs from 1991 and 1992. Any help would be appreciated.
