It was impossible to connect to 3G in stadium to provide updates. Crown on now.

I also suggest looking every day at Groupon and LivingSocial. I got a great groupon deal for a nice restaurant in Indy for $25 I get $50 worth of food.

Yes I counted any and all brass, solo etc. Cadets show is 1 min longer than Cavs show. I look at the time counter on the video so it said 12:48 but could be off a bit.
Thanks for the responses as I said I was curious. Maybe I can dig up a rule book via DCI.

Which suggests another question. Should there be a minimum time? Why or why not?
I believe I just created a thread within a thread, but still in the same concept.

Interesting question. It was just so noticeable in the Cadets show that I had to pull out the stopwatch.

Just curious - what is the average length of time that the brass actually play in a typical show? I watched from fan network download. The Cavis show is 11:40 the brass play 8:01. The Cadets show is 12:48, the brass play 7:30. Thanks for the info!

And speaking about schedules.....Why can't DCI provide schedules and times on their website for these shows?..instead of just a performance order...Is it really that difficult? They could always add the disclaimer..."Performance times subject to change"...

Bluecoats mom section C. Very Windy and this field has a crazy pitch if you were mid field as you walk toward spectators it's downhill. Also only about 15 feet from first field line into stands. Going to be a challenge for everyone!!

How can they/dci prevent someone from sending the audience vote text number to hundreds of people not in stands. Votes come in from all over the US to stack the deck in favor of certain corps?

Does anyone know the housing sites for corps competing in the Woodbury and Mankato shows? I know Blue Stars are staying at East Ridge (show site) on Tuesday and Mankato West on Wednesday. How about the rest?

I am just looking for help. There are two issues 1) the DCI mobile ap which you download and yes that seems to work fine. 2) when I put in www.dci.org in my web browser (Iphone safari) I get a bizarre mobile version and I cannot get to the regular full version. So - if anyone knows what I can do to see the full site I would appreciate it.

Please support the "Pride of Minnesota" (UMN marching band) students who are in DCI. Madison scouts have a Bari player and Bluecoats a trumpet (my son). It would be great if all the U students, alumni, supporters at the show give a big SkiUMa for these 2 fine musicians.
