Adam is the staff coordinator; some guy named Sylvester is handling the program.
We're looking forward to GREAT things from BOTH of them!

Your timing is uncanny. I just sent a press release to the "powers that be" here at DCP, introducing another new Bush staff member.

This is a situation this year for Bush in which keeping the corps together as an entity for the future might be the true priority here.
Your perception is spot on.
One of these days, over a few adult beverages somewhere, I'd love to discuss this season and the challenges the corps has faced. These Bushwackers are working every bit as hard as any Bushwackers from the past.
While that work hasn't paid off competitively, they're building a bridge to the future.
I can't say it enough - I am proud to associated with them.

Success is not the Buccaneers fault at all
Geez, "Ken", I think Lee was quite deliberate in saying that being successful wasn't Reading's fault.

I can't think of any corps in particular...

Holy crap!!
I don't know ANY of these people!!

I believe the Bushwackers got their name from their idea they'd come up from behind and surpise everyone, which they certainly did.
That would be incorrect.

2008 Philadelphia Phillies!!
Oh, sorry...but Cole Hamels has serious hands.

I am voting for Bush!!

Hope it's not too hot in Tampa Bay...
Miami in February will be very nice...

Jim has poor taste in football teams which is only surpassed by his extremely poor taste in baseball teams.

We were allowed generously by DCA to employ a panel of judges for our Family Day performance to achieve a seeding score for prelims.
What other corps competed?
Are the recaps available on the DCA website?

4th - Bush 88.013
3rd - Syracuse 88.150
2nd - Empire 92.9
1st - Connecticut 93.563

Any numbers?

Boy do I miss "Pat's "in Philly!! IS IT still even THERE?
You miss Pat's? The next time you're here, send me a PM. I'll get you at least 5 places with MUCH better sandwiches.
And cheesesteaks are so passé - it's all 'bout the pork now!!

maybe it's the shrinkage
I just couldn't help it...

Ridgefield Park, NJ...the Elks Lodge...play a little.
Cool solution!

Hung out with Dave at Chris Kilian's bachelor party last Friday. He didn't mention this review at all.
The strippers weren't moving either.

Thank god I dont let the corps compete in spelling bee's in the off season.

I LOVE RIDGEFIELD PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I live in Philadelphia and we have a CRAPPY 4th of July parade!! Never quite understood that.
I had a unique opportunity with my girlfriend last Independence Day. For whatever reason, Bush finished our parades early, so Tiffany and I drove back to Philadelphia. On a lark, I drove to Old City.
We had a pint of Jefferson Ale in the City Tavern and walked into Independence Hall.
Very striking to be in that room on that day.

Yessss....very gooood.
Don't talk about the Bushwackers. They like that. It fuels them.
Quiet, my dear...

All good...all good.
Fiftysomething hopes will be realized.

I accept improvements as long as they are improvements.I about barfed my hot dogs at the 2004 singing corps and another corps that year that could not figure out what the color or crap was. Then there was the backwards dance show from 2005.Yowsa yowsa yowsa. Those were not innovations,,they were nausea on top of nausea. These corps have for the most part moved on and realized the error of their ways.I forgive them of their sins. One of them even went on to win a world championship.
And I am certain they truly appreciate YOUR forgiveness as the arbiter of all that's innovative.
I wonder if the snack bar in the Louvre has hot dogs?
Where's the review for Wildwood?

Both reviews - hi Bob! - made me feel like I was there. Keen insights about all the corps.
Lots of time - let's see how these shows progress.
