Dumbest, most WGI-y, immature entrance to the field for scores. This alone was enough to make me want to leave the stadium immediately. This is not WGI, BOA, etc. This is Drum Corps. Turn off f'ing 'Lady GaGa' and let the corps enter the field without smoke effects and horrid pop music echoing all of the place.

More word just in, there was a drop in BD guard. Can one drop affect a perfect guard score?

Nupe, tons of age-outs. Harloff and Klesch are a team of genius though so who knows. Also going to require their visual to step it up.

Crown accomplished exactly what they wanted this year. Break the top 3, prove that they have a competitive world class drumline, and show that they're the best #### sounding corps in the world. Congrats Crown, grats Cadets for making me want to watch your shows again, and grats BD on your feet.

pretty soon I can see this rumor blossoming into...I heard that everyone walked out when the score was
announced...(which is semi-true because the majority of the show was over...but not because of BD).
You'll probably see a lot of ridicules 'rumors' over the next 24 hrs...

They've got a buttload of age-outs this year who have been around since their landmark show in 07. I dunno.

Fixed. Also, if Crown is doing poorly in performance, then wouldn't that be the fault of whoever is cleaning their feet/drill? Not the designer. Cadets may have the harder show, but if they aren't executing it better - visually AND musically - then they should not pass Crown.
One of their vis techs marched Bd 04. I can remember him saying you won't beat the devils unless you can beat their feet.

vis performance is still killing them. UGH!

And sadly it will determine the outcome for them. CC's brass has been better than BD this season but the harsh reality is they cannot, and will not beat BD's feet tomorrow night.

Blue Devils take the chairs out of their show during finals and replace it with crazy drill. Judges no longer have any choice but to score them over 100.

Yea and that show in particular placed 5th also. If Lucas Oil sounds anything like the Georgia dome, I wouldn't sound too happy either. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is always great at the southeastern championships but dome acoustics flat-out suck.
