    I guess I am a little bias. But it's really interesting how some predictions on this thread put Madison totally out of finals this year. They could be correct in their opinions. But, I really, really don't think so this year. My prediction for them will be top eight.

    Happens with a lot of corps in a lot of predictions. They're just predictions, speculations, aka don't put too much thought into them.

    But I "really really don't think" Madison will be top 8. Could still see them in 11-12 though.

    3. Carolina Crown

    4. The Cavaliers

    5. Bluecoats

    6. Santa Clara Vanguard

    7. Blue Stars

    8. Blue Knights

    9. Phantom Regiment

    10. Boston Crusaders

    11. Colts

    12. Crossmen

    I really have no idea though, but I do know that I will enjoy so many shows this year! Going to be exciting for sure.

    Then tell us oh seasoned wise one? What drum corps shows did you attend in the 90s that you can remember? Yeah, I was alive when Nixon was president but that doesn't mean I passed a bill through congress during his term. Tell us what you SAW from DCI in the 90s. Go ahead....we'll all sit here and listen.

    Edit: forgot Blue Knights, but honestly it's hard to say who will be in or out of the top 12 currently. Wouldn't shock me if they were that group come August.

    It's all about spreads to the corps around them in competition. Scores from first shows do not even matter in the end of the season, so it would just be pointless to say that if they don't get a certain score they will get __th place.

    They CAN make finals. WILL they? No way to tell until semifinals. It's seeming like one very competitive year already and we have only seen 5 corps at an actual show. Exciting to say the least.

    2014 uniforms

    As stated before, the Bluecoats guard will stand out so well in those bright orange outfits, reminding me of the "Criminal" color scheme. Love it, and I really can't wait to see their show live!!

    Scouts - don't mind the uniform, but are they ready for their technique to be super exposed yet? After the last few years I really don't think they are. Obviously a uniform will not fully dictate scores, but when something stand out as much as a white uniform does against a green field, it is something you cannot ignore.
