  2. I don't want to even predict what happens if the Akron show becomes a rainout and people already ordered tickets to the Cinema show on line.

Besides, whats the incentive to order in advance when my guess you can just walk up to the ticket window Monday Nite at the Cinema, purcase your ticket(s), and then just sit wherever you want.

According to the Weather Channel only a 20% chance of rain on Saturday.

  3. Spirit will be at Riverside Military Academy in Gainsville, GA, then move up to TN for the remainder of spring training to prepare for the 1st show in KY. Spirit is also planning a Friends, Family and Alumni Picnic on Sunday May 26th at 5pm (Riverside Military Academy). I think there will be a nominal fee per car that will include a meal (from their new food truck!) and a preview concert of the show music.

As we mark time in May, salivating for the first contest, and as fewer and fewer corps preview with a Memorial Day parade or such,

here's a list of where to find your favorite corps.

No corps is intentionally slighted. If they are not listed, it's because I couldn't find the info.

Feel free to comment and correct. Enjoy!

  4. What were their numbers like? Did it seem the sections were set or like they were still in audition mode? Any announcement about source material? What was the opener and ballad from?

    Thanks ahead of time.

I would say that about 80% of the hornline in attendance were call backs and after this weekend most of the sections will be set except for some of the last spots. Battery and pit were pretty much set for this camp. As for the music, I will let the corps make that announcement, but I will tell you that in the opener, from NOTE 1 you will recognize the tune and it will firmly set you into the 1920's!! Can't wait to see this production on the field in 2013!!
