  1. Cascades Good sound. Nice and big with low brass actually pushing out and being heard. Bit crazy with arms and horns and members coming out of the box at all times. Just some cleaning to do but looks good overall. Next up Pioneer
  2. First on Genesis Pleasantly surprised. Good low brass sound even through the technically challenging portions. Some space issues mainly caused by holes in the horn line. Good solos on ballad and nice drum break. Bit cheesy in some places but overall a great first performance for them. Can't wait to see more!!!! Next up Cascades
  3. Beautiful day for a show. A few clouds in the sky. Hoping for a great night with great performances
  4. High of 98 and 96 at show time. Start of the hot southern tour!!!
  5. It's going to be a hot one in Van Buren, AR. Start time set for 7:30. Genesis Cascades Pioneer Colts Madison Scouts Blue Knights Blue Stars Phantom Regiment Predict away
  6. Cadets 2012. With every horn mic'd and a giant wall of speakers they better be loud!!!! And I remember in 2009 one of our brass staff recording SCVs warmup when they went from quiet as possible to as loud as they could. The mic couldn't handle it and that was with around 15 kids missing for sickness
  7. The way I understood the rule was that if a WC corps was inactive for one season they could return to WC standings. Ex: Cascades inactive for 2008 season back in WC in 2009. If a corps is inactive for more than one season they have to return to OC and start the process for WC over. Ex: Cap Reg inactive from 2007-2008 and then went to OC. Of course like stated earlier the rules change often within DCI. Back on topic I like the change back to every corps competing against eachother. Gives more kids the opportunity to perform in Prelims and Semis. Plus more corps for the audience to enjoy!!!
