    Been busy the last few days and just saw all this so I went ahead and added BD 1993 to the list. I ment no disrespect to BD by leaving them off the list. I made this from memory and I guess over time and with age you forget some things :blink: . Sorry about the confusion. I was just trying to make a fun poll while we wait for the upcoming season>

    You left off Blue Devils 1993 who were tied with Star Of Indiana and Blue Devils were also the Brass Caption winner of 1995, not Madison (though I could have certainly seen 95 going either way).

    In 1993 Star won Brass by themselves. In 1995 Cadets, Madison and Blue Devils tied for Brass.The brass award was decided then by a avarage of all three nights, and when all three nights were taken into effect those three corps tied for high brass.

    While your statement is true, I think it's a little hyperbolic as well. If we each show counts as a 15 minute show (including pre-show), that means the finals is 180 minutes long. The cuts add up to about 6 minutes of broadcast (3 minutes for Carolina pre-show, 2 minutes for madison, 30 seconds for cavies) which is only 3% of the broadcast. Granted, 97% is a lot less than the 100% of we've normally been getting which is disappointing but I wouldn't say it's on the same scale as entire songs being excluded from each corp.

    True, but I think the problem most are having, myself as well, is that DCI did not alert the changes on the audio recordings to anyone. We only knew about it once the CD's started arriving at people homes. Also that DCI seems to think the changes make no effect on the show at all. That is just horrible business customer service.

    OFFICIAL CHANGE IN ADMINISTRATION FOR TEAL SOUND

    Moody has been hard at work this off-season and has already put together an outstanding design team that includes Robert W. Smith and John Campese. "I believe first and foremost in the educational aspect of the Drum Corps activity. I am really excited for this opportunity - I want nothing more than to offer the members of Teal Sound an organization that they can be proud of. We have a great deal work ahead of us, but I can't wait to see what is in store for the 2012!"

    Joel Moody, 31, a popular band director of Winter Park High School's marching band, resigned March 18, about two weeks after another Winter Park student reported to a teacher that she had seen sexually suggestive text messages Moody sent to one of her friends.

    Among the dozen messages he sent to her in February:

    •"I just want to grab you up. Hike up your dress. Well you know the rest."

    •"I can't wait to see you naked. You're so beautiful."

    •"We just keep talking as friends because I don't want to lose you. Then when things can work we see where we're at?"

    APDs this year will break down this way:

    World Class will be all Thursday. After it's deemed appropriate, we'll then offer rips of the CD for sale, though that's sometime 2012.

    Open Class will be all Tuesday, plus the three Friday performances. Those were the "last" performances I was referring to; sorry about that confusion.

    Expect bundle pricing to be aggressive again.
