Blue Stars

I thought that's what Spirit was trying to do this past season, but I guess not. If they do go back to their roots, I'd like it to be done in a refreshing way that's not too reminiscent of the older shows.

Terry Riley's Rainbow in Curved Air needs to happen. I could see Bluecoats using it.

Saucedo has a new "home."
Maybe Gaines should move in with him. No offense to Tim Fairbanks, I think his stuff with the Blue Stars is fantastic, and I'd be surprised if he wasn't coming back next season.
I'd be satisfied with Saucebanks again. But Gainedo, man.

1. Blue Stars - Homer alert. Guard 10/10
2. Bluecoats - Great music, great theme, great performance.
3. Blue Knights - Best music package, probably will relisten to this the most.
4. Carolina Crown - Best brass in my opinion, just fun to listen to throughout.
5. Blue Devils - There's a reason why they got such a high score, and it's because their whole show is just enjoyable.
6. Cadets - Solid music to listen to.

The Michael Gaines/Richard Saucedo duo needs to make a comeback already. (Probably not going to happen, but hey, a guy can wish.)

Oh, and when they showed the close-up of the Bluecoats DM on the jumbo-tron when they won 2nd, my friend's knees buckled.
And every other female and gay guy in the stadium (and probably everyone else, too).
(Might also explain the good Visual Analysis scores)

I believe there is a 'center marimba' player for SCV. I have seen him talk on one of the SCV pit videos. He is in the front row either in the center or just to the left of center. I would also guess it would be hard for them to watch the DM who is high on a stand right in front of them when their keyboards are below them. But what do I know.
It's also just a timing issue. If the pit looks at the DM and plays with his/her hands, then they will technically be ahead of the ensemble and the timing will be off. They generally listen back to the drumline for timing. And looking at each other, in my experience, was for a multitude of things: making sure you're together with the rest of the pit, same mallet heights, and just getting into that performance.

I wonder if that dude knows his private conversation is being broadcast all over FanNetwork-dom
Apparently the film thing at the end is an "eye explosion."

Man, whoever made that topic about the "Year of the Blue" could never be so right. This season is awesome.

Man, I've said this once and I'll say it again. To Build a Home by BK and BS are the best things on the field this season. Some tasty good-sounding stuff.

then he should see about getting a refund on tuition
Gee man, I know everyone has their opinions--but you're talking about one of the performers here on a personal level.

Man, I'm really digging this Colts show. I'm glad they're improving--hopefully they continue to become a finals contender corps.

Madison in 11th place is total bull crap
Oh... should they be in 12th then?

The "To Build A Home" arrangements from both Blue Stars and Blue Knights are just my most favorite things ever.

Anyone else's feed just have a seizure or just me?
If you just had a seizure, you might want to see a medical professional.

I'm not a huge fan of Madison, but seriously, for the past few years, I have loved their opening hits/statements.

I personally don't like the Crossmen show that much... but that's just due to taste. However, it was obvious that their performance level was much higher than others before them, as previously mentioned--by a large margin I feel, too.

I'm predicting a 2 point spread of Lone Star Choppaz over Blue Devils. No contest.

I've always loved Academy's uniforms, allows for little modifications each year--I really like the blue this time around. Such a shame that every corps this year is really good, or else this would score much higher.

You'll have access to it for as long as that particular live stream is up. So, once they take it down and chop it into individual shows, your access is done. As a FN member since 2008, it's definitely worth the extra $50 to pay for the full season than just one show, IMO.
Thanks a bunch! I was considering that too, because I would have just bought semi-finals and this show to rewatch later--but now that I've learned I can only watch it for today, I'll probably buy the latter. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

It's a ToC show--show order has generally been random for these types of shows.
