yeah I know. I am ok with some narration and props and so on. But tastefully done and in moderation would be nice.
Just curious....do you also not like Blue Stars, Cadets, Blue Devils, and Crown this year?

apparently you don't understand what I was saying. You might need to think about it. Basically ENOUGH!!! It is unnecessary and WAY overdone.
You might need to be more careful the way you word your statements. When you say "stop the narration", I'm going to say "it's too late". If this is your way of complaining about the show, then just simply say you don't care for the narration. It's been said many times before, but I don't believe anyone has flat out said to "stop" this late in the season.
In my opinion, it is NOT unnecessary at all.

And if you "know they can't", then why tell them to at this point of the season? I could understand it if this were June, but it isn't.oh yeah I do I really do! Of course I know they can't. But they should. It is incredibly distracting. I guess my comment was more of a wish than an expectation. If many people say this then you shouldn't need to ask.

Don't forget about a field full of props and/or tarps!wish away, narration isn't going anywhere, neither are electronics, neither is body movement, neither are guard costuming....lol..we can wish and wish and wish..........lol

Well if you want to think that. But that's just going to make Thursday rougher. And I don't know whose scores you're happy about but at least 3 of those corps will drop. And that's sad for them. So yes it's poor management. Look at the shows that all participated in, with the judges that will be judging this weekend. (Otherwise known as regionals) There's your trends. Sorry it's just the way it is!
The Colts scores have been going up and back down all summer. Unfortunately, they're probably used to it.....if that's what happens on Thursday.

No...I'm saying I think it's executed VERY well. You obviously have a problem with the entire show. I've come to love the show after seeing it many, many times this summer. That's the great thing about art! It's really too bad some people can't simply state they don't really care for the show and let it be.

It's the narrator. He was the scarecrow when the show started and still is at the end of the show.

They should have paid a professional to record the narration. Unless it's written in the script male voice to sound like 16 year old girl. Or at least given him acting and voice lessons. Not his fault, just untrained. I love the music and the rest of the show, it's just too bad about the voice.

I agree! I have greatly enjoyed their shows the last couple years.I agree with the statement that they're more talented than the show that was given to them.

Exactly. I think they've seen the gap close in front of them and are hungry for more!Agreed. I probably should have used the word "tweek" instead of change. There really can't be any "major" changes at this time of year. They have also been cleaning and with three full rehearsal days this week, I would expect them to clean, clean, clean!

They need to clean , Solidify and edit ( Narration ) .Not change . The more you change at this point the dirtier you you be
I don't think there are any major changes happening at this point....just small bits and pieces. They put the new ending in this past week before Atlanta and it didn't seem to hurt anything. In fact, they had the biggest score increase between San Antonio and Atlanta of any WC group!

At their season-long daily rate of improvement, I believe the Colts would edge out Troopers if they continue at that same rate through Semis.
Actually, at their current rates of improvement, the Troopers would barely edge out Colts for 13th place.
88.693 - Troopers
88.549 - Colts
Having said that, the Blue Devils current rate of improvement would give them a 103 at Semis.

Crossmen seem to be holding a pretty consistent spread over Troopers. Without a major shake up I think Troopers are the 13th place corps. Colts have less ground to make up on Troopers, but they're going to have to surge to take 13th away from them.
Unfortunately, Colts and Troopers don't meet again until Indy.

Oh....I understand and I'm not trying to downplay the Crossmen improvement during the Madison stall during the first week of July, but Crossmen were six points ahead of Colts at one point this season.
Tonight 2.125
Half of that four-point catchup came in the past week. I'm not saying Colts will overtake Crossmen, but their improvement cannot be denied.

Yes...I hope so too.. I enjoy it a lot too. Sorry ... I am just in a bit of a snarky mood at the moment. No offense intended. I hope they figure out whatever difficulties they are having with the sound system.
