Has anyone heard about this corps? I'm starting to see post about them on Facebook. Their website looks good.
I guess they're trying to compete this year?

The Academy - They're finally starting to make this Vienna-esque theme pattern work.
Blue Devils - They earned their medal this year, no doubt.
Blue Knights - I like this new Blue Knights we're seeing!
Blue Stars - I love how they went back to their roots (from 2008 and 2009)!
Bluecoats - Easily the fan favorite of the year and it's partially because they went with the time-honored tradition of choosing the music first, not the theme.
Boston Crusaders - This corps does dark so well it's scary.
The Cadets - This is just classic Cadets, no other corps can pull off a show like this.
Carolina Crown - Matching last year's intensity is a hard job even for Crown, but they did an okay job.
Cascades - This show could have been powerful with more members on the field.
The Cavaliers - Welcome back!!!
Colts - I will never complain about the Cadets' amount of narration again.....
Crossmen - They changed their theme from the past two years, but still used that brass arranging style that made those years so good.
Jersey Surf - They're still a fun and entertaining corps even without the costumes!
Madison Scouts - They tried to fix what wasn't broken, but great effort.
Mandarins - This is a powerful show, but I wish they would have stuck with the Asian theme after last year's success.
Oregon Crusaders - It's good to see them still far exceeding expectations while still holding on to (a version of) the uniform they've been using since their early Open Class days.
Pacific Crest - Great concept, repertoire left me asking for more.
Phantom Regiment - This was a powerful show that, in my opinion, should have at least scored higher than last year.
Pioneer - Same Pioneer as usual, pretty entertaining though.
Santa Clara Vanguard - Somehow, they did this better than the first time they did it!
Spirit of Atlanta - I love this homage to their past (including the uniforms), but doing another Gatsby-esque show might have scored them more points.
Troopers - They're continuing what they started last year and it's beautiful!

Too bad Hichcliffe won't be renovated for a few more years ( plans are made - historic designation obtained )!
Wow, that's awesome! I can't wait to see something actually happen with that place in the future, especially if it's another Grand Prix!

I'm about to play one of these for the first time soon, but I don't really know anything about 2-valve bugles. Can somebody help me figure out what I can do on one of these?

Highland Regiment is applying to compete, too. Their show is called Fearless.
