    Dynasty Snare for Sale $80

    I only needed this drum for I&E, and I don't want to take it home. I'm in Rochester now. I'm going home early Sunday morning. First $80 gets it. I paid $200 for it, two months ago. It's got chipped paint on the rims, but it works great. White Max batter head and Falam resonant head. $80 and it's yours. Take it home and sell it on Craigslist for $200. Or use it to grow marijuana. Or to build a space radar. Or to attract bears.

    If someone doesn't buy this thing, I'm throwing it in the river tomorrow night.

    Dead serious.

    Needing a Place to Stay at DCA

    Howdy,

    I'm participating in the DCA individuals contest, and I need a place to stay in Rochester, that week(end). I'll be arriving on Thursday night, and I'll be leaving Sunday morning. Does anybody have ideas on inexpensive places to stay? I've been researching hotel prices, and they're considerably more than I can afford. Feel free to shoot me a private message if you have any ideas.

    Help Getting to DCA Individuals Contest

    Fellow Drum corps enthusiasts,

    I want to compete in this year's snare drum I&E, but I don't have enough money for the plane ticket and hotel room, so I set up a GoFundMe account, in hopes that other people would pitch in and help. I'm trying to raise a total of $1,000, and if 100 people donate ten bucks, I should be able to do it.

    I don't feel comfortable (at all) asking other folks for money. I never have. But I really want to do this, so I set the thing up. Here's a rough sketch of what my solo might look like. Thanks, in advance, for any contribution you make, no matter how big or small.

    Hey Ray,

    I spoke at length with the percussion director from a corps in New York, and I spent about a week looking at my finances, trying to figure out a way to move there, rent (or buy) a car, pay my bills, etc. I concluded that it was not feasible financially, so I opted out of doing drum corps this year. I am hoping to get onboard with someone next year, though.

    And here are two more videos of me playing. They're not meant to be audition videos in any way. I'm not demonstrating fundamentals. I'm not doing any marching. They're must videos of me having fun with drumsticks. But I hope they pique someone's interest somewhere. I'm really wanting to see if I can get involved with the Buccaneers, MBI, Alliance, Atlanta CV or possibly the Hurricanes. Having a heck of a time getting a hold of any of them, though.

    Hey everybody,

    I'm interested in marching this summer and I'm wondering if any drumline out there needs a snare drummer. I don't have a whole lot of money, but I work for a company that may be able to transfer me to any major metro area in the U.S., so that issue might be solvable.
