  1. There are a lot of hours to fill on the bus. I've read "Building the Green Machine" by Colt Foutz. Are there other reads related to DC out there? It's always nice to read fiction related to what we love. I haven't been able to find much out there.

The book, "Stumbling on the Downbeat" by Shawna Quinn, is coming out June 15. It's a novel about drum corps!

  2. A fictional novel about drum corps - "Stumbling on the Downbeat". It's being released on June 15, and aimed at high school aged readers, but for those uninitiated it might be a starting point. And an entertaining read for those already into the magic :)

  3. It's been so long since I've beeen immersed in the DC universe, and I didn't realize how much I missed it until I read this. Thank you for your words. It reminded me of all the reasons I feel it is such a special thing. It brings joy not only to those marching on the field, but a whole culture of people off of it that, too, understand the magic that happens when people come together to march and play. It changed my life when I was younger, and continues to change and enrich others. Beautiful thing.

  4. I'm a noob too, and really enjoy connecting with other people passionate about music. I am from Canada, so DC is much different up here than it is in the States. It's nice to have this to follow. I marched years ago, and to be reminded of how passionate people get about the shows and the whole culture is great. Looking forward to getting back into this "world".
