I’m not going to add too much more to the discussion because I’ve expressed my opinion. However, I’d like to quote a post Michael Boo made somewhere else: “Drum Corps needs the Madison Scouts, whatever form the organization takes on.” Even if you agree or disagree with their decision, drum corps would not be the same if the Madison Scouts were gone.

No matter the situation they are in right now, this change is long overdue whether anyone likes it or not. The whole all-male corps thing seems extremely chauvinistic to me. Times have changed, and they’re missing out on some of the best talent out there. However, I think this will only be successful if there is a shake up in the administration after the season. If that doesn’t happen, then I don’t think much will change.

Come on Jeff, these are 16-22 year olds. The season just started and after the start that Madison has had, every day should be full practice.
Excuse me? They’ve performed THREE (!!!!!!) times! Give them time. They will develop, and they don’t need to read about you b******* about it all

With all due respect, Scouts got probably the best reponse of the night behind Bluecoats. They had some very cool elements that the crowd really dug, cool drill, etc. I thought they moved as much, if not more, than most. The group I took included adults and middle school band kids and they all liked Scouts second to Blooo.
I love the Scouts’ show. I think they have the most room to grow out of the corps around them.

Agree. I was thinking either a payment or order timeliness issue. Reposting that Stanbury post about weather was a really terrible decision.
There was a post on Facebook from a Stanbury sales person that stated that it’s hard for Stanbury to keep up with such high demand of corps (and marching bands) getting new uniforms every year.

I really really enjoyed what the Cadets brought. I’m excited to see them grow this summer.

Blue Stars are at least two points above Phantom

I’m in the minority, but I really enjoy the break in FoEG. However, this needs A LOT of cleaning. I’d they can do that, this could be something special.

Blue Knights 2014 “That One Second”
I don’t remember too much of watching it on finals night because I was crying too much lol. There was obviously a lot lacking, especially visually, but there was something extremely special about this show that makes it my favorite of all time.

This edition of Phantom Regiment will be entertaining and they have tons of potential with the musical program. I assume the drum break in FoEG if some sort of conflict (let’s see how that plays out on the field) but man.o’ man you can’t beat that resolution. Kudos for giving this piece it’s time to develop! The O’ Fortuna references are woven in nicely. Can’t wait to see how this show matures.
An early season SUTA to the MMs of 2019 PR
I think the break in FoEG is going to be the uniform/costume change. Based off the reveal, it looks the hornline has two different uniforms, so this would be my guess. Stay dark for the beginning, and then reveal the lighter colored uniform for the hit.

I disagree. In the beginning when they move around a lot, they represent a new beauty, during the ballad, they bundle them up and use them for shelter. In the end, they are just sort of random so I don't know, Phantom people help me out and let me know if I am in the ballpark
From what I understand, they’re used to represent the different worlds they enter into, and then leave. And then they all come together towards the end. Not exactly sure what they’re going for at the end of the show, but I know they represent the different worlds.

If my research is correct, Phantom just posted the best 12th place score ever. That shows how good these corps are really getting.
