Nice 4 point jump for Colts and they still don't have their complete drill on the field.

It was 1 point and a tenth actually. Crossmen had a 1 point penalty at prelims
Yes, you are correct, but you still have to take that penalty into account since it affected their score and almost cost them finals. It also would have been hard for the Colts kids to take since it made them come that close.

And 3 tenths of a point in 2009.
I do really really want them to make finals. Of course the question becomes who will miss out.
Thus is a drum corps fans nightmare.
I agree with you! I hate to think of who would miss out. I do just really like the depth and story behind the Colts program this year and hope that it works out for them in the end.

I would like for this to be the case, i just don't think that it will happen. By atlanta we will probably know who is safely in, and if we are lucky there will be a battle for 12th.if we are really lucky it'll be like a couple years ago with tenths of a point separating 11-13.
Having these spots separated by tenths of a point are great for the fans, but are a bitter pill to swallow for the kids in the corps. Just ask the Colt kids that lost out on finals by a tenth of a point last year!

Pretty good score for not having a closer. I think they will probably hit a higher mark tonight even with new drill.
Just heard they are not quite done with the closer yet so they will march about 95% of the show and just play the rest. Hopefully there will still be a little bit of a jump and by Madison on Saturday with two full days of cleaning on Thursday and Friday we should start to see the real score for them.

The Colts will have their closer drill on the field tonight so I'm looking for a jump in score for them compared to last weekend.
Enjoyable Evening in Evansville...
