The day after finals is he going to sing, "Sunday Mornin' Coming Down?"
After a top 5 finish, perhaps? Okay, top 8.

Was GH in a leadership position in 1982? When did he become the director?
George Hopkins was the Director of the Cadets in 1982. He was Asst Director in 1981 and became Director in the Fall of '81 after Doc Santo retired.

I can agree with that for almost all corps..... The Troopers (DCI) and The Caballeros (DCA) are two corps whose name describes an actual person's identity. Madison makes uniform changes, but always stay close to their "scout" look. The Cadets also stay close to their military school image. If you're going to be the 11th Ohio Regiment, then you should dress that way......I liked the new Cabs look, until the alumni corps followed them onto the field. And when the alumni corps and competing corps merged for the final, I wondered who that was out their with the Caballeros. Cabs and Troopers should leave uniform experimentation in the color guard..... why would the two corps with the most distinguishable look change from that look?
Madison Scouts' uniforms haven't looked at all like boy scouts since the early 1970s. It hasn't been a problem.

Thought you had seen the uniform announcement page. The designer is quoted, Michael Raiford

I'm new to DCP and have just skimmed this topic....It seems some might be under the impression that Michael Cesario designed the new Troopers uniform? Actually, the designer is Michael Raiford.

I marched with Troopers in the 80s and find I still enjoy following drum corps, not only nostalgia but also keeping up with present developments and competition. I make it out to 1-2 shows a year. I look forward to the discussion and reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
