If the rumor mills are true (and, my feeling is that the mills are grinding at about 80% on point), then I will be a sad guy. As much as I get that GH is a complex, complicated and often difficult guy, I want the very best for him and The Cadets...whether they are together or apart. The very best.

George Hopkins is a cerebral, reflective, and expressive person. I don't do Facebook, but that entry sounds like it was addressed to members at the close of a long and difficult season.
Yes. He is. And, I love that about him. I am hoping that great quote is just that...a thoughtful and expressive way to reach out to the Cadets who are feeling the letdown of those first few days at the end of the season.
But, that same expressive guy could be talking from a couple of angles...
I am hoping for the very best. And, I will be rooting for Cadets the whole way.

Wondering if I can get my butt to Lucas in time to buy a ticket and see the Cadets tonight. Flight lands at 7:45pm. Definitely going to give it a try!

One of the great disappointments in life: Ordering a cherry turnover only to find that they are all gone for the day. Really, it is heartbreaking.

Heading to Indy on Thursday, I have tickets in hand for Friday and Saturday. But, I just might make it to Indy in time to see a few prelim performances. Does anyone know if I can purchase seats at the Lucas Oil for a late Thursday arrival? Otherwise, I will try my luck on the ticket sites. Thanks for your help!

I actually like the new ending except for one quibble. I am so focused on the story line that I miss the crown set.
Missed it twice live! Two more tries this weekend.

So where does Cadets go in 2017? They are in search of a new contemporary identity that puts them back at the forefront of the activity, as they were in the 80/90s and early 2000s. What changes do they need to make....especially to their design process? If they don't, i fear they are on a slippery slope as Cavies, SCV et al figure all this out.
Good question. And, I think that the first step is for the Cadets team to ask that question of themselves. And, I am confident that they will. Even if they end up with a Gold medal (Ok, I am reaching...but, I can reach), they will do a thorough post mortem of the design execution process that started in 2015. I do think that 2017 will be a pivotal year for Cadets. Which way is up?
(In the meantime, I am going to have a blast seeing how this all plays out.)
