The Blue Stars had a truly special show last year (my overall favorite from them since at least 2010). I’m very excited to see what they have in store for 2023!

Vanguard third in percussion and BAC fourth (and only 0.2 ahead of Crown lol) is absolutely absurd. Those are your top two by a mile.

Anybody know what Crown’s rehearsal schedule is like tomorrow? I’d like to watch some full ensemble at Scheumann before the Muncie show.

I’m not much of a poster on these forums, but I have to comment on the absurdity of this change. Those of you commenting on the danger of judging in the drill need to tell me how many judges or students have recently been injured by judges being in the drill. Yes, there have been a couple of near misses (with one judge in particular), but fix this issue with better training, required drill film study, or other precautionary measures...not this! I honestly cannot believe there isn’t more pushback on a rule that will effectively cripple the percussion score in this activity.

Did people forget that the group that received 4th today was under a point behind the Blue Devils literally yesterday? I absolutely love BD’s show this year, but this season is not over until scores are announced two weeks from now.
