From semis Sec.142 Row.21 (back to aisle) and finals Sec.141 Row.15, I too was surprised by the congestion and talkers/shouters in the aisles, and saw corps staff and fans struggling to get thru.

I also saw fans for each corps surge into the 140/141/142 aisle area and empty seats when their corps was up. On both nights I fended off fans looking for a better temporary seat when the real seat holder was momentarily away. No one seemed rude, but the ongoing seat jumpers just added to the congestion.

The seat jumpers are normal and don't bother me very much as long as they’re polite and leave when the real seat holders show up. But I agree, it added to the congestion a lot

I paid $756 for two - three packs a week ago.  I can’t remember how much it was last year and I don’t want to go through all of my credit cards records to find out.  I think it was probably about $50 more for two people last week.

I think it was about $680 last year for super 3. The price increase for next year didn’t seem too drastic to me

yeah.. i get it.   if this unfolded as it's reported in this forum then that staff member needs to be reminded what the fans mean to HIM..  i don't care what  your position is.... this is a product they are selling... you think I am going to go outta my way to buy merch from a corp that hires an a$$h0le   probably not.  Will pass by to the other stands.   we buy lots of merch.. we're old guys ..fans attending and going to shows for over 40 years.  I would probably spend my money elsewhere....

It’s what I saw. I don’t know if the fan he shoved said something to him (which is entirely possible)

That’s a fire hazard.  Also people standing by the wall across the 140 section.

I also had an issue in the entranceways, two times I tried to walk in as a corps was setting up, but I saw both fans and corps members blocking the entrance so people couldn’t get through. At intermission it was impossible to move because people were standing on the wall.

And what was up with the wall between the 100 & 200 level?  They use to keep it clear except for the 10 corps staff in from of 240.  You couldn't get through from the 100 level with 2-way traffic & the folks standing against the wall.  Crazy

And the people standing IN THE AISLES talking to people. I said at least 10 times this week that people have no situational awareness.

Oh yeah, that’s ridiculous. If I had to guess, I’d say that whatever he’s reading from needs to be printed larger. And I hope no one takes that comment to be ageist—everyone knows that the eyesight goes as we age.

I think that plus some kind of phonetic spelling like someone else mentioned would be beneficial for next season

Brandt is iconic and does a great job (and I love how he introduced Troopers and Colts last night, much like how he introduced Mandarins in 2018). But somebody PLEASE help that guy correctly pronounce the DMs’ names. That was pretty hard to hear each night. Maybe corps can include phonetic spellings in the future (this honestly would help most announcers).

I saw someone on Reddit imply he was a racist for this 🙄

Chances of Phantom getting Rennick back? LOL

On a real note, I really hope Phantom starts looking around immediately for a new color guard staff and they should really spare no expense. You just can't have that sort of toxicity in your organization if you want to be a top-six program.

What happened with phantoms guard staff?

Thanks but all  I’m asking for is a very simple “thank you fans for your support this season”.    not a five minute video or speech 😊

That’s never been something I’ve cared about or even thought about. We know the kids in the corps appreciate the fans response to their shows, and that’s plenty of thanks.
