They really need to fix the transition into the ballad. Not sure why it’s taking so long to correct this. The original design for that transition is not working. And they need to clean clean clean, simple dress downs keep getting missed, as well as choreography. Let’s go BK u can do this.

Honestly think it would be awesome for the top three be Crown, Bloo, Boston.
It would be the first time in the 90’s to current that BD, SCV, Cadets, Phantom and Cavies would be left out of metal contention. One or more have always been in the top three and I’m ready for that streak to be over.

Found that clip and way more aggressive which will be welcome, Here is hoping to a strong return back into the top 12! Wish we had more tasty treats to see…. And sad that no one focuses on them on these forums.

My two cents
I am a big Blue Knight fan and alumni, but I fear their percussion and guard may hold them back in 13th place. At first, I did not really like their musical direction this year after the very first show on Flo but the show has grown on me with each viewing. If they can keep adding content and cleaning up those two sections they may hold on to a finalist spot but it will be a challenge.
as for Corpsmen I have seen their show a few time and while all sections seem strong I can't help but feel this is more of a BOA (Reagan type show)
I have seen Colts only once and love the look but musically I will need a few more listens to see if it can capture my attention better.
Madison, Troopers and Music City seem to all be Hungary and have something to prove but may not have enough to carry them into that next tier but you never know.

Every time they try and do a show with the dots as a main theme, it never clicks. (1995, 2001) -
Will always be a BK fan and have truly loved what they have done since 2013 but this show is missing something and that guard needs to improve or they may be in the stands come finals night because the other sections and overall design are not strong enough to carry them across that barrier.

So, after coming in third in the race for 12th place last night in Birmingham, if things don’t drastically change that will be two consecutive 14th place finishes. Here’s hoping a better design in 2024 or at least a staff that knows how to clean a program. But at least everyone is having fun and enjoying their summer.
