My Windows PC is clear as 720p gets. Sound is exceptional tonight articulate in the mid range. Sub bass is strong too.
System is Onkyo 717 as pre-pro, Emotiva XPA-5 250 wpc in 3.2. Klipsch CF-4 speakers (dual 12" woofers), Usher MTM center and dual 15" subs 700 wpc.
Won't name names... but I worked on the field (volunteer) at the ATL show. You would be surprised what is coming out of the speakers from some of the top corps. Gets a little mixed from the stands FLO had mics maybe 1ft away from some of the speakers... but not all (which I though was odd). My position was something like... 8 to 10ft away from the speakers. Talk about blast zone.

Dang! Wish I had caught it. Love their book this year. I need to be on Facebook more often, it seems like a lot of corps are doing this nowadays!

One of the dad's on tour with his daughter I know. Not on the corps page.

Just heard Spirit's warmup on FB live. Good Lord! That is a hard book! Sounded great.

Yes, a Spirit home show on Jim Ott day, so they are likely wearing their black armbands/legbands (I keep forgetting which one it is they wear every year on this day).
Arm. RIP Jim. Was at Legion Field in 80 for finals. Very emotional to see Jim Ott spelled out in the folding seats on the opposite side.

Glad the sun was behind the stands for Spirit. Hate it for the earlier corps. Staring right into the sun and trying to run/play like a mad man is no fun.

This should never be allowed to happen and be reprimanded or at least questioned when it does, unless they truely have gotten better than I’m all for it, as long as it is reflected be the performance. A home show shouldn’t be an inflation gift.

If you go look at recaps you can see where it tried to happen. I can understand if a section (brass, percussion, guard) is just not as good as the corps below you. However you go and look at the Visual recap from tonight's show and you will see scores all over the place between Spirit and Phantom.

Hearing reports from the show about the Spirit kids. Really hurting about the loss of their friend.

I'm calling it right now. One of the effect judges will go WAY out on a limb tonight and PR will beat Spirit, tonight only. Just like what J Bell did at the Madison show.
Judges need to judge. Not show biased.

BTW mfrontz it was neat to be at history night for the corps and for the rookies to learn about the Crossmen being our sister corps.

No penalties when a person in the crowd goes down and they stopped the show
Yep on that.

Do you know if they got the electronics fixed?

What does that mean?
They have a certain start time. Points are deducted for penalties.

Spirit is ordered to parade rest. Haven't seen anything like this. Obviously will cost them in penalties.

I think they would rather have the penalties than have a halfway performance.
