I know the big crowd will be down in Irvine, CA at the Spectrum, but I'll be watching at The Block in Orange.

I think he was looking for a performance schedule.
Per Jeff's post, I don't think we will be getting live prelim scores, so a schedule would be just for fun.

I find myself too curious (and a bit concerned) to not ask: What happened to the three shows that ran on the 8th?
Toledo, Trenton & Warrenton have not appeared anywhere... and yet the shows from the 9th and I&E are there.
Any idea when we'll get to see 'em?
It seems that because the recaps were late getting up, Jeff skipped those shows, but we haven't gotten an explaination yet.

At the end of the regular season The Sword is in the hand of the Velour Knights. Can they hang on to it for the next 4 days?

I sure am noticing allot of FANFARE corps in the top 5 in WC (4 out of 5) this morning.
Well my CLASSmates and I are doing just fine, drafting to make our move at the end.
CLASS and FANFARE do make up 10 of the 12 finalist spots right now.

Yow... DCI must have booched the scores from the 8th something fierce - results of the 9th are up, but still no 8th.
They must have stumbled upon some of that legendary "Toledo Window Box". Ha!
So Jeff, did you make an executive decision and chose not to post generated scores for the 8th?

Speaking of jousting, all ties for The Sword will be decided by pit cart jousting. Each drum major will grap a flag pole stand on the back of the pit cart. One at one end zone and the other at the opposite end.

Probably ought to just rock the generated scores, I guess...
Not like we have much choice but I don't like the idea. The good thing about late season shows are that you have good look at where you are rolling into prelims. Using generated scores throws out any spreads you may have against other corps. But if they don't post the recaps. we really have not choice but to go forward.
The show must go on!

Well the Sword started the knight in the hands of one corps and after the 3 way battle for it's possession, ended up in the hand of another.
The Velour Knights will take care of it for the rest of the season, thank you.

OH wait--but there is! I will be taking more applications for CLASS ACT the week after finals!
I wish I had the time to play, but I'll knee deep in 3 different band camps. Resting up now.

I don't think the years to be used have been decided yet. (I could be wrong) but whatever years are used, they are used for all three classes.
Interesting concept though to have different years for different classes, makes one ponder.

This is amazingly tight! Unsure if this is common or unusual at this point of the season, but I sure am jazzed!
I bumped the State Championship thread the other day because some of those looked to be pretty tight (I'm lookin' at WI in particular).
I had no idea the top 16 were as close as they are until you pointed it out.
This has the potential to be one spectacular finish!
Not sure about this point in the season, but finals have always been close. Here are the differences between 1st and 12th at finals the last few live seasons.
(Only include live seasons because off seasons are a totally different animal)
Season 12 = 1.46 pts
Season 10 = 1.20 pts
Season 8 = 0.524 pts
Season 6 = 0.975 pts
Season 4 = 1.327 pts
Season 2 = 1.281 pts

1.0 is the difference between 1st and 16th right now.
This is going to get crazy tight.

For the 1st time we have more competing for a State Championship than not.
FYI ~ If your in the witness protection program and don't want anyone to know where you're from, your corps' home state doesn't have to be you current residing state.

Already happened - it's the unaffiliated Knights of Power! (we are taking bribes as to which of the alliances wants this new power)
It's only obvious that you should join the Knights of the CLASS Table joining The Knights, The California Knights and The Velour Knights.

Well no championships for the VK Org. at the CLASS Championships this year but did represent ourselves quite well bring home 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Having a great summer traveling the country is cool, even better is when each member of the Org. gets to bring home some neck bling to boot.
Now on to the one that really matters, bringing home that finalist medal from DCPI Championships. If it says anything other than finalist would be a bonus, but just making the big dance will be something this year.

Yeah I was a little bummed to see a 14 next to the Velour Knights name but things will change once real scores kick in. (One hopes)
