  1. not every website stores information the same. what he's saying is probably correct, in that the issue is with the way the DCI website stores cookies.

your best bet is to post your problem on Sony's message boards, not DCP. :P

    Thanks,

I was hoping someone on this site had used the playstation for the same thing.

I have posted on Sony as well.

    Thanks,

    Mike

  2. The issue more than likely is that the the PS3 web browser isn't of the IE/FireFox/Safari ilk, but is it's own separate build (Netfront, I think)....that's probably preventing you from playing the .flv videos/storing your log-in cookie on the site, since the dci.org site isn't written for that kind of browser.

As of right now, you're probably out of luck unless you throw Linux on there and Firefox....but I'll wager that there will be some sort of improvement to the PS3 browser eventually.

Hope that helps a little. :satisfied:

I understand what you are saying, but it will not allow me to get to that point. Every other website that I have gone to that needs my email address or password works fine. I have emailed DCI to see if they have an idea of what to try.

    Thanks,

    Mike

  3. Cadets doing Bridgemen's WSS 1981...Bridgemen were more fun.

Cadets doing a lot of things SCV did first...not as good, IMO.

Madison's "Swingin' Pete Sweet" was pretty cool. But Blue Stars did "In the Hall of the Mountain King" way back in 1969.

And don't forget, though it's been re-re-re-arranged a couple of times, Madison's "Maleguena" started as a transcription of Muchachos' version from 73/74.

    Garry in Vegas

Don't forget Madison played Malaguena back in the 60's.

  4. Just to throw a wrench in there...I agree with you except (and where the heck did this come from, I'm going to start sounding like a Spirit hater, which I'm not) but I think Madison can squeak in there. Watch out for them coming up. They are making some strides...even with a weak ending (which I'm sure they'll work on)

I would agree, but I am not sure the judges will. I thinl Madison is probably a week away from beating Spirit. (I don't know if they meet them in a week or not)
