Last night's show was by far one of the most exciting regionals I have attended. There's a lot of hot drum corps this summer, wish I could be at finals.

Randy, I agree, the times SCV has done a soft ending its been good, it works for them, I just don't feel it is something that woudl work for Madison, I don't mean that it would work for no one

I'm at a loss for this topic, I marched Madison, and will see the new ending this weekend, I guess I will know then if I like it or not. If it is down and low liek all are saying, I am not sure how I will feel about that. It's just not a corps to end soft, sorry, just not the way I see the "Men of Madison" ending a show!

Well...Here is how SCV won in 1989.
A group of people referred to as "judges" gave their "expert" opinion on the matter on what we refer to as "Finals Night."
They decided that the "Glory" should go to a group called the "Santa Clara Vanguard."
This is how SCV won.
Sorry, just trying to have fun, I enjoy both shows and do not try to call myself a judge, so I do not have an honest opinion.

I know this says pre-94, but I marched 97 for $500 wiht Madison, 98 for $400 and 99 for $300

Yes, I saw them, and as always enjoyed them, there is just something special about seeing a corps come out with a full honor guard, one of hte many things i lvoe about the senior division

SCV 2005: most underated show of all time?

I am all about SCV's show. I would agree with some that it is not THE most underated show of all time, but I would certainly say it may be one of SCV's most underated shows. I feel the same about 97.
