I'm also excited about kicking off 2012 with the Bucs. I just listened to the opening production and I can't wait to hear this chart played live. It sounds like Mark Lortz and Bobby Jones did some serious collaboration on this original work by Mark. I can almost see Bobby's awesome visual work as I listen to the music. BTW Tom, let's be honest here. Bobby "Kris Kringle" Jones blows away all three of the music designers as far as being Santa Claus is concerned. I'm loving all the buzz from the corps members that I'm seeing on FB about the rehearsal tomorrow. This is a great bunch of people. It's hard to believe that the corps will be having its 4th rehearsal of the 2012 season already.....in 2011! GO BUCS!!!

The full ensemble really was a thrill! The Music Design Team of Lortz, Trujillo & Tsalikis (just rolls right off the tongue, doesn't it?) is off to a great start. I can't wait to hear the next segment! Come to Twin Valley MIDDLE School this Sunday and check it out!

I get a double dose of Buccaneers this weekend. The Buccaneers Alumni Corps is kicking off their season at Oley Valley High School at 7:30 pm on Friday, December 2 (today!) Then on Saturday & Sunday, it's time for Winter Camp #1 with the Reading Buccaneers at Twin Valley High School in Elverson, PA.

Is it Saturday yet? I wonder if the Brass Visual block will have to be on the football field again due to space limitations in the gym? That was a nice "problem" to have to deal with last week. GO BUCS!

So I got in my car after work today and the finale to 1812 Overture started on WITF radio at the exact spot that our chart begins from The Black Symphony. I got home in record time.

First Winter Camp is only 3 days away!!! I can't wait to see everybody back at TWIN VALLEY High School, hard at work on The Black Symphony. Bring a friend!

Jim, It's always so inspirational to see someone of your longevity still standing in the arc, playing your heart out. Hey, it's amazing just to see you still standing. All kidding aside, we always look forward to having you join us for the day and we greatly appreciate the students that you steer our way.

Thanks! I know what you mean though, I can't wait to read the announcements for the Percussion, Guard and Visual staffs. (Ok, so I already know who they all are. I just like to see it online!) 28 DAYS until MEMBERSHIP DAY!
