  1. DCT helps you in that breaking down process, as well as protecting against sunburn. I've used Chapstick and some other products, but I was never as satisfied with it as I was with DCT.

ive been using this other stuff from blistex and it works surprisingly well. im not out in the sun yet, but for camps its lovely. i just dont like the way dct buldges out my pocket and makes my leg look weird.

  2. Bluestars- WOOOOOOOWWWWW!!! This show just kicks A@@ nuttin more to say. that drumline is amazing and the brass line was great as well. Definetely one of my top 2 shows of the summer. Give them another year or so and the rings will dtart piling up if they stay in div 2, but I can't wait to see them back in the div. 1 ranks. 3-2-1- lets jam...

thank you!! im glad you enjoyed our show :)

  3. Baritone- I dont think I'm strong enough to hold one up!

who cares!! bari is the coolest thing to play! anything you do in drum corps is challenging to say the least. you will definitely have a really cool experience no matter what you do though... so..... just do bari cuz it rocks! :P

  4. yea, i wouldnt be able to carry 4th or 5th either. when i marched bass, i marched 3rd. my friend tim marched 4th. sometimes we'd switch just for fun cuz we're nerdy like that. then i'd be like you're a crazyhead!

  5. i tried playing phrases starting from the end and working my way to the beginning. you could also try picking out your favorite parts and working the phrases that connect them. that worked for me too! im weird though, and i do weird things to memorize stuff.

  6. i agree that it matters more that you marched, not where. i think being in div. 1 would be a really cool experience, but im more than happy with where i'm at now. i also like smaller groups. its easier to get to know everyone better. i think it's easier to learn more as well. one of the many things i like about shows is watching div. 1 (and anyone who may be there) perform. i think i'd like to keep it like that. i'll probably age out on 09 having never marched div. 1, and i wouldnt have a problem with that.

  7. yea really. im a nerd, and i like horn arcs a lot!! even when i was in drumline i'd go watch the drumlines and then some hornlines. i dont think i'd buy a tape of either of them though. i just enjoy watching groups warm up in person. and thats about as far as it goes :)

  8. the most influential instructor i ever had was dan duffield. he taught the pit at americanos last year. i have learned so much from him. he knows more than anyone needs to know about music, mallets, percussion, whatever. he's also just a great person. he helped me become a fantastic mallet player and musician. i never, in my wildest imagination, thought that i would be able to play the stuff i can play now. or just know all the stuff i learned from him!

im not sure if hes teaching there again or not, but that is one man that i will definitely miss!!
