I know when i design anything, the music is what you have to think about!!!
a big hit could quite possibly a ensemble rifle toss or the the catch could be the hit. it depends on what is mor eeffective with the music. and that is the same way for flag.

Excuse me... but I might add.. that if brass IS your life, then you know nothing of colorguard. I do not have too much time on my hands. Its a simple flag segment. Just becuase I had a long explanation, doesnt mean that I have too much time on my hands. I was just very detailed, it took me maybe 15 minutes or around that much type to make that post. Its hard to learn something over a chat forum unless you go into detail becuase nobody is there in front of you to show you. late bloomers.....?? Rough start...magic has been this "unfortunate" for the past three years....i dont think its a rough start. And i wasnt trying to bash anyone...i was giving my honest opinion on them...and asking what everyone else thought..no bashing...and the title was to get people to read this...satire is a very good literary tool....and magicontradad, i was their for that speech i heard every word, i was visiting some friends in orlando...and thought i would drop by and watch a few rehersals...those kids im sorry to say dont get the whole picture...great kids dont get me wrong but they do not understand the big picture. Magic will clean up a little hopefully a lot, but imo its a lost cause this year...magic has had so many downfalls and unexpected turns already this year that could make them hurt for many years to come....i really am sorry if i offended some but these forums are for discussions like this where people can get honest reads from other people and im sorry some people dont understand this.

Ok, so back in 2003, Magic of Orlando, was a very promising corps....just coming off as div II champs, and making finals their first year in div I....yet sadly now to be frank...they suck-horribly...so what i want to honestly know is what does the drum corps world, thinks magics problem is they are 21 right now out of 22 only pioneer is below them. Please make reference to entire corps...or by section...brass...guard...and percussion. Opinions thuroughly welcomed.

I know exactly what you feel. Last year i made the switch from Euph to tuba, and i did that exact thing, all you really nees is some more practice and in time you'll get stronger and be able to hold notes.
