Just a note to those that might care... Alliance's score was a 67.775 tonight NOT a 57.775 as DCI has posted. It will be corrected later. I have seen the recap sheet from earlier tonight. Thanks!
Funny thing is at 9:00 am it says ALLIANCE scored an 87.775 Scores Recap
Not only are you competing with the big boys in DCA but y'all bested DCI corps!
-
the corps can't grow without people
-
you won't find what you want on DCI.org unless you want to pay the price for the APD. I remember there were decades CDs but you'd have to find them on ebay if you're lucky
-
I think McPound was lauding the Scouts for being up front and making it easy to find out what is covered. I think he was criticizing other outfits...maybe I misread your post though.
Bingo!
My bad for the confusion. I will makes edits

I saw first year for madison was $2000 and thought that was high. But I checked out the website and that covers everything but getting there.
I hate it when other corps aren't up front with all the costs. Your dues might be $1300 but you have this fee and that fee. Come on, give it to me straight.
Go Madison!
edited for clarification & spelling

i'm not sure if it was just me or what but did anyone else notice minnesota brass inc during the NAMM commericals?
-
i'm surprised there are no comments about this

i saw on dci some videos and this corps had a weird uniform and i had no clue who it was. it finally hit me, it's gotta be blue stars and sure enough i saw on corpsreps that the blue stars have drastically new uniforms. i prefer the old one better though

go madison!!!!!

gotta show some love since they've been getting nothing but hate
also gotta love the mods closing anything that has madison in the title
-
they're moving on up! b**bs
(and yes i left that open for everyone to use as they please)
-
sorry nothing new here. those have been out for awhile. and from what i've heard, you're correct, they're lousy
-
they have somewhere around 168 pages of drill on the field.
168 pages of drill for a D III corps
-
and that keyboard too. YEAH!

It's time to play the slots. If you look at the gaps between scores from the opening weekend, there are some obvious holes where corps that have not yet taken the field could easily slide in.
The slots are pretty clearly defined between:
Bluecoats and Crown - insert Boston with a 71.XXX
Blue Knights and Colts - insert Crossen with a 68.5 or so
Colts and Glassment - insert Madison with a 66.XXX
I think the Troopers, Academy and Cascades will be in a gap after Blue Stars and before Spirit. This pushes Spirit way down from last year. But, hey...a 60.9 on opening weekend is an ouch for sure.
I have Pacific Crest occupying the gap after Sprit and before Southwind.
We'll see...trying to make sense of the guesswork.
shucks, i wanted to be the first one to mention slotting!

Hey Marvin! Yep..we're going to Savannah!
good thing you didn't move here last weekend; it felt like 2006 championships but 20 degrees warmer
-

timing your intake of air is critical in wind playing. if you don't time it right, you'll come in too early or too late. plus you might not fill up all the way. breath dah = good.
