  1. Word. That is one of the major points of drum corps, isn't it? Getting an education in a spectacular activity.

yeah the education part is pretty important. many people may not see the education part at first. however quality must be number one in drum corps or anything else.

Come on...show the power and might behind all the words in support of the G bugle! Put those dollars to work for Pioneer.

Once Pioneer was climbing to the top, wouldn't other corps offer to switch back to G in exchange for this kind of support? It would be like a freakin' revolution in drum corps. Away from Bb and a return to the purity and perfection of G.

i forgot to add this stuff to my earlier post:

brass is only 1/3 of the product on the field. they can only get so far with a great hornline who just happens to play on a G horn if the rest of the corps isn't at the same caliber. also, if they did make a climb for the upper tier, i doubt anyone/ everyone would say it's because they use G horns; it's because they are that #### good!

  2. i've been watching 93 star a lot lately. i've noticed the drumline gets split throughout the show and as a brass player i'm always wondering why do this or how it would affect the line. i'm thinking when the line is split, the parts aren't as demanding.

    anyways: thoughts?

  3. i'm currently adding the 2005 DCA World Championship cd's to my itunes. Unfortunately the cds don't have the show titles on them. And I'm weird about getting show titles correct. I'm using corpsreps but not everything is on there. it would be great if i could get pointed in the right direction, given the names, or whatever. thanks for your help
