So how's Class A finals looking?? I don't remember who declared Class A or Open
Alliance
Fusion
Chops
SoCal
-
This is the same problem which actually delayed Bucs start in a previous year. Can't remember if it was '06 or '07.
06!
-
I believe Alliance is A and MCL is Open. :-)
-
I take it you're in the stands? Either that or you've got connections...
Scores were up on the DCA website a corps or two ago. I am guessing that is how he got them.
-
I have now seen Brigs and Bush. They are small, but with well-designed shows. The Renegades, having not been against anyone else in DCA, are complete unknowns. However, unless everything that I have heard is pure hype (and this IS DCP, after all), I have a hard time believing that Renegades, being larger & more powerful, will finish behind Bush and Brigs. If Renegades execute well, it will be no contest. "Derived Achievement" will only carry one so far...
The rest of your picks are plausible, individually. You're probably within a place on most of them. But then, the seeding (slotting?) is affecting all predictions.
My picks (now having seen more corps):
12 Alliance (chance: 60% - could be MCL 30% or Kilties 10%)
11 Kilties (50% - Cru 40% or Alliance 10%)
-------------------------------------------------------
10 Crusaders (50% - Kilties 40% or Alliance 10%)
9 Corps Vets (80% - Cru 10% or Bush 10%)
8 Bushwackers (60% - CV 20%, Brigs 15%, or Renegades 5%)
7 Brigadiers (50% - Bush 30%, Renegades 15%, or CV 5%)
6 Renegades (80% - Brigs 10%, Bush 8%, or MBI 2%)
5 Minnesota Brass (50% - Renegades 30% or Hurcs 20%)
4 Hurricanes (70% - MBI 29% or Cabs 1%)
3 Caballeros (80% - MBI 15% or ES 5%)
2 Statesmen (95% - Cabs 4% or Bucs 1%)
1 Buccaneers (99% - ES 1%)

I would love to hear Regiment with a micced string section, maybe set up on a platform in the field. That would be an amazing sound.
Already being done. Every July 4th on the Mall here in DC, the Symphony plays "1812" and big guns make loud bangs and fireworks explode overhead. OK, the musicians don't march... but its a heck of a show.

lol
you keep using that word... I don't think it means what you think it means.
(please tell me you know what movie I'm quoting!!)
INCONCEIVABLE
W: "You're THAT smart?"
V: "Let me put it this way: Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?"
W: "Yes."
V: "Morons!"
One more:
"But only slightly less famous is: 'Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line'!"
See you all tomorrow!

I can't wait!!! (Part of it might be that I get to go home for the first time since the middle of January, and that the Fine family will be there!!)
We will be! We cannot wait. We are leaving tomorrow and staying in Mansfield overnight. We will be there 10:30 Saturday morning!
-
Yes, it starts at 7:00PM on Saturday. As far as other groups, I'm not positive, but I talked to the band director (I graduated from Marcus Whitman last year), and she said that the marching band is playing, I believe the jazz band is playing, and some other small student ensembles.
Hope to see you there!
Can I come? ;-)

The show is going to be great! I can't wait to perform in my old high school
(sorry I missed you all last weekend, I had a last minute ride issue... I'll be there 100% for this camp with the music down!!)
Good thing we didnt make it then. LAUREN!
Elizabeth ended up with an IV as she got a nasty stomach flu. Poor little girl. She is recovered mostly now and we will be at MW next camp!
-
Thomas and Elizabeth will be appearing about 30 minutes before rehearsal begins on Saturday and staying for about an hour, then they are off to visit their Nana and Papa. They will likely return near the end of the day Sunday.
Oh ya....... Dale and I will be there as well.

When I first came to ES in 04 it was strange for me to discover people did not call you Bubba and I am only a youngin'. I have not known you that long at all. :-)
