I agree that Mr. Hopkins didn't use the best choice of words but I don't think he was refering to any corps. He was refering to the Cadets themselves. They were losing a lot of captions in the early season due to the incompleteness of the show. They had captions as low as eighth place in the early polls. That may have hurt the kids confidence for a while, people go to corps like cadets expecting to be contenders for the crown. However, a lot of people took it as a slam on everybody 8th and lower. I'm sure Mr. Hopkins will correct the situation as soon as he is aware that it is an issue. After all, even though they won the title, who wants to make enemies of other corps. Who knows, maybe the cadet equipment truck will break down sometime and It might be the santa clara vanguard to the rescue.

Congrats to Bluecoats for cracking the top 5 and almost getting 4th. Also congrats to madison. Someone new with specials on the DVD's Blue got it last year. It's great to see new faces at the top.

You're right... Bluecoats aren't close to the Devils... and neither is Phantom close to the Cavaliers....
way different levels.
Of course they are on different levels. thats why they are 6th in brass and now losing music ensemble and percussion to bluecoats. IF coats can clean up the visual it is a possiblility. But don't say that any of our top six is not in the same leauge with the others as they obviously are. Any given night anything can happen.

Bluecoats take Blue Devils in GE Music, Ensemble Music, and ties Percussion and overall Music. Is it possible that another heavy weight could fall?

Unfortunately, To compete in the top twelve, I think we still live in sexist society and the sponsorship they need likely wouldn't be there. I think all female corps are destined to be div 3 until societys attitudes change.

As Madison seems to be stalling out, Bluecoats may have just passed them for good for 5th. Now if they can close on Blue Devils.

yeah scores are stalling because they have to have room to place everyone appropriately at finals. Some corps. scores are stalling because their shows are peaking out early. Some other Corps. not stalling are those who are continuing to clean their programs and still growing at a more rapid pace.

yes it could. If you guys think back to 1993 when Colts first made finals, they were 14th at preview of champions in Michigan. Two weeks later they hammered their way into 12th on semi finals night and made it to the big dance.

They likely won't pass the current 1-5 and no one 7th or lower can touch them. It's just like they are going to ride the season out.

I could be completely wrong, but as I understand it, there will be no problem with the dvd's and cd's. the problem is over computer downloads. It was an oversite when working out the details with the composer.
