G_Bass
Its actually a 321 modified to convert into a marching horn. Your thoughts on the G conversion kit? It may be a quick solution for me until I can get a real G Contra.
Shadow_7
Are you just buying the conversion kit and already have the tuba? Just remember that every penny spent on things other than the G contra, is money you don't have to spend on the G contra. I played on the 201 with conversion kit. It played decently. Although it didn't really like the upper dynamics. And was awkward to play since it is a converted concert horn. And some peers have informed me that they don't hold up well to the rigors of marching.
G_Bass
The horn without the G conversion is being worked on right now. Its a 321 4v modified to be a convertible. Someone had mentioned to me recently about Yamaha G conversion kits. And the horn is already paid for.
highcountrymike
Look in the market place there were 2 valve G's up for $400.00 each last week. 2 valves are kinda fun! Makes you work those chops a bit!
G_Bass
It was for Chrome DEGs. I kinda already have one (Getzen Titleist P/R). Meh, all the ticket trading and selling gets in the way of looking in the marketplace.
