There is a $40 non refundable audition fee (If you have paid for the IMPULSE workshops, you need not pay for auditioning)....

Workshops Dates and First Auditions will be held:

1st workshop will be on November 18th 2007 Location TBA from 8am-5-pm

2nd Workshop will be on December 1st 2007 Location TBA from 8am-5pm

1st Audition date December 7th,2007 Location TBA

Workshop Schedule

8am-9am- Registration

9am-10- meet and greet with staff

10am-5pm Workshop.

Things To Work On For Auditions

Dance - Plie/Releve in all positions/both sides, Following Barre Exercises

En croix- tendu, Degage, battement, rond de jambe, arabesque, single

pirouettes (try multiple turns).

BE PREPARED TO GET INTO THE GROUND, AND FLY ABOVE IT

Flag - drop spins, crazy 8/carving exercise (two handed, one handed), cracker

jacks/pull hits (both sides), tossing singles and 1 1/2.

Weapon (if auditioning):

Sabre - spins on both hands, a spins and stops or angle type exercise,

flourishes exercise, spin medley (spins, spins on top of the blade, two

handed double time, one handed double time, singles) on both hands, hilt

3,4,5,6 (catch tape)- Blade tosses up to 3,4,5

Rifles - spins on both hands, a spins and stops or angle type exercise,

flourishes exercise, spin medley (spins, spins on top of the gun, two handed

double time, one handed double time, singles) on both hands, tosses - 3,

4,5,6 and try 7 (catch the tip of your gun)
