It was quite unexpected. She leaves three children, all of whom were involved with the marching programs at Lansdale Catholic High School while in elementary and high school. Her husband died about four years ago, also unexpectedly. Maureen marched with the Crossmen from 1976-1978 as a flag and rifle. She also marched with the Buxmont Raiders and Reading Buccaneers. She taught guard at Upper Moreland High School since the late 70's; Phila PAL, Lansdale Catholic, and PG among others. Maureen was passionate about her family and her guards. She was a caring, bright, positive person who always seemed years younger than she was. Hundreds of people she marched with and taught will remember her hard work and devotion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, May 18th at 10AM at Corpus Christi Church, 920 Sumneytown Pike (at Supplee Rd) in Upper Gwynedd where the family will receive friends Monday from 9 to 10AM.
