drummerboy1992
I'm a senior in high school, and my band needs lots of help with tempo. We have never had a practical solution to practicing with a metronome, and do not have enough staff to have a person on the gok for most of our rehearsals. The only way I can sell my band director on the idea of a Long Ranger is to find one cheap- he's not exactly willing to make room in the already small budget for a new $1600 Long Ranger 4. If anyone had any advice of where to look/offers, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Tito
The school at which I teach just found one on an auctioneer site. Apparently they are popular with these people. The site was something like ohioauctioneer.com or something. Google it and it should pop up. Also, the megavox is a less expensive option, but I have no experience with these. I cant tell you whether they perform at the level of the Long Ranger or not. Ive seen them on ebay as well from time to time. Even the least expensive used one (which was a Long Ranger 1) was $925. Good luck to you!
