HNCadet Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 It is with great sadness that I must report the passing of John Baumfalk, Founding Member and First Drum Major of the Holy Name Cadets, of Garfield, New Jersey. I was just notified myself by John's niece and have been told there will be a graveside funeral service with military honors next Monday Feb, 11th in Cypress, Ca. I hope readers here can contact some of the other older Corps members that John worked with here in California in the 50's-'60's like the Monterrey Park Girls, Commodore Perry Scouts, etc. and inform them of our loss.
