John Schmitt Posted June 19, 2002 Share Posted June 19, 2002 Interesting tid bit of information. Up until the multi-key rule change, trombones were legal; provided they were pitched in G. I remember doug thrower wanted to use them for the opening of autumn leaves in 98, but the slide would have been over 7 feet long :D I assume these contrabass trombones' slides are similar to that deg quattro thing i've been hearing about so inspector gadget isn't needed for 7th position. -just a curious trumpet player Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
