leadsop97
I bought a Kanstul trumpet before going to All-State my freshmen year, and I love it. It's great for all ranges, I have awesome tone on it, and it's great for jazz. I love my trumpet.

mchromik
I just received a Kanstul 280 Mello today and I am very impressed. Very warm and dark with the Mello 6 mouthpiece. I am not quite sure if I like the 'tune-any-note' slide. I sorta wish it still had the conventional main slide, though I can adapt. Used to listening to the contras and liping it to where I needed to be. Now I can 'thumb' my way as well. The horn really seems dead on the dimentions and feel of my old King K50 G Bugle, but with a third valve of course. I would have liked to have gotten the newer 281 model, but I could not find one in time for my first alumni corps camp. But I cannot wait to see how it compares to the other mellos that others are bringing to the above camp.
