Our greatest number of attending parents and a BUNCH of new Brass players joining the ranks is...well....HUGE! The "Play March and Munch" a lunch open house went really well. The Brass section almost doubled in size, and the parent attendance topped more than 40! These parents are all eager to be involved in their kid’s lives and want to aid in making this a spectacular experience. The parents had an opportunity to walk through our 45 foot kitchen trailer, and 45 foot instrument trailer realized how big of a production it was to move a drum corps and that Impulse is fully equipped for the task! "Impressive" was the word on many of their lips. These dedicated parents brought food and helped prepare lunch for over 100 kids and adults. The huge BBQ grill cooked over 100 burgers in less than 15 minutes. After lunch, the parents were all given a complimentary Impulse t-shirt from our souvenir trailer as a "Welcome to the Impulse Family" gift. This day was so Great!, we’re going to do it again on Sunday May 6 (Location is yet to be determined) This next Open House will welcome Color Guard as well as more Brass players. Come down!
