Jim Nevermann Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 John was DCI's first QC Chair, serving for x-number of years. He was, I think, originally a Skokie/Des Plaines Vanguard drummer and, when I first moved to the Chicago area in late '71, co-drum instructor with Milwaukee area Dennis Hagner for the then-still Boys of 76. I worked under them & marched snare with Boys for a few months until accepting PR's drum instructor spot in early '72. John's brother Terry I knew of though never saw him. So where are they now? Jim Nevermann Posted September 28, 2011 Author Posted September 28, 2011 Surely someone in the Chicago/Milwaukee corridor knows, yes? Quote
ajedrummer Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I have lost touch with Terry, but he moved from Milwaukee to Wausau in 1975 or so and was with Wausau Story through 1979. I marched under his instruction for many years. His company, Impact Industries made drums and other marching items, primarily sold through McCormick's in Chicago, but then broadened their distribution. MANY Wausau Story people worked for Terry during the summer! I heard he sold the business and retired a number of years ago, but do not know any details. As far as I know, he is still in the Wausau area. Quote

Try this. It was public info I got through Yahoo so I don't think there is any breach of confidentiality posting it here.
