  1. Just found out about the passing of David "Sully" Sullivan. He was a member of North Star and the Bridgemen. He was 51 year old. He was one of the nice guys in the Drum & Bugle Corps, as a performer, as a teacher and an overall nice guy.
  2. Here is a list of Corps from the 1976 Mayflower Circuit Class A Boston Crusaders Boston Blue Angels/Reveries/Cardinals (North Star) North Shore 5th Maine Regiment Portland Me. Socialites Saugus, MA Imperials Pembroke, MA 21 Lancers Norwood MA Muchachos Manchester, NH Warriors Lewiston, Me Class B Amvet Brigadier Randolph MA Renegades Quincy, MA Citations Burlington MA St Joseph's Danties Hide Park, MA Arbella Salem MA Sharpshooters Framingham, MA Militiamen Bedford MA Sir Thomas More Cadets Braintree MA Regal Crownsmen Cranston RI Suburbanettes Hudson, NH Joanettes Leominster, MA Class C Amvet Lancers Randolph MA Marksmen Framingham, MA Chuting Stars Danvers MA Royal Cadets Gardner, MA Debonnaires Norwood MA Shoemakers Haverhill MA Firettes So Portland ME Sir Thomas More Squires Braintree, MA Golden Buccaneers Chelmsford Ma Social-ettes Saugus MA Golden Rays Stoughton MA Vicounts Dracut/Lowell MA Imperials Jrs. 3. If your looking to see how old the Diplomat in Malden are I have an old picture of my daughter (now 37). She was 10 years old and was in the guard.
  4. Larry was not God, but then some of the ladies in the old Wilmington Crusader may have though he was......
  5. The group from America from Edinbrough is from MA. If you have ever marched at the Wakefield MA parade you may have seen them.
  6. Check this out. The group is from Washington DC
  7. How about some show reviews? It's nice to look at scores, but I would be more interested in seeing a review of what the show looks like, numbers in Horn line, Drum Line and CC. Just remember to be nice and don't flame a corps.
  8. I just found out the Blast will be at the Lowell (MA) Memorial Auditorium on March 6th 2008. I know it's kind of early to get tickets, however I have been trying to find our the schedule for them around the country. The only information on the Blast web page is 2006 for Japan. I have friends in other parts of the country that I would like to contact about the show. Does anyone know how I can find out this information?
  9. If you that is bad, see if you can get a copy of the line-up for say Nationals in 1980. Also try and look at the corps that went to the World Open in Lynn MA or the US Open in Butler PA. A lot of the corps that went to those shows did not got to DCI Nationals. This was the BIG show for them. Little travel and a lot let expense for the corps.
  10. I have been listing to drum corps for a few years (since 1975). I have never see so much use of Drum lines in advertising in my life. Everyone from a cruises lines to just about any sports promo. I think it's a good thing, but are they using any known drum lines or are they just pick up groups recorded at studio?
  11. Got this off youtube. This is nice, but I see a little of 27th Lancers, BD and a number of other corps in this line.
