I couldn't agree more. Especially with Braddock. it's been ten years and this group has always had the crowds entertained. They're finally up there with the top dogs and I wouldn't be surprised if they come out medaling this year. I mean it's about time they did. You know another thing i like about them is that they are still one of the traditional groups in top 5. A floor, with ENSEMBLE moments. none of this every man for them-self thing that some groups have going on. They have a show concept that people react to and understand. Good luck Braddock! Ill also agree that SCV could win it again. very energetic and intriguing. However I don't see onyx in top 3... did you see the most recent fan network video? They had some awesome moments but the audience BARELY reacted. I think that says a lot about the production. It still needs some work in my opinion.

sorry its been awhile...this past weekend premonition and braddock showed up! Premonition has this dark elegance to them that is stunning! their flag feature is fantastic. the staff has most certainly matured this group up since premier. very touched to see how well this group is doing this year. Braddock...they have an ending. and they will be the ones that entertain the audiences. I cannot wait for people to see this group this year. They are even better than ever. flags are clean, weapons are clean, and their ending!! im not going to say anything about it but if this group doesn't medal this year...then they never may. it is their year to make top 3. if they don't, then the judging is messed up. they are so much more entertaining than fantasia, corona, blessed sac, and onyx put together. they are delivering the total package to wgi this year, their show tells a story (no hidden meanings), a hard book with performers that execute it to the max, and a show design that greatly resembles northern lights. this is their second year with joe sowders (wrote northern lights 04, 05, 06 plus other groups such as zydeco i think). with this being their 10th anniversary, it is about time this group gets what they deserve after all the entertaining shows they have performed to audiences. Yes i am a strong advocate for braddock.

they can have the design staff and good show design, but if they cant execute it, then they lose the aura. its all about making the equipment look second nature. <--- that is their one obstacle. HOWEVER, that is not the entire team, there is some great talent on that floor this year.

I wouldnt say they are a carbon copy, BUT i did see their show and everything about them screams nei. their floor could pass for a part 2 to 2009 nei. The uniforms are sparkly and flowy like 2009. the other problem that is standing in their way is the fact that some of the members get lost in their book. the book resembles the level of nei and, at premier, all i could see was members falling in and out of their show

They're doing well. They look completely different than usual and look like nei which, in my opinion is not good. you can give a group a design but making them look and be nei is not good. yes it will get them places but you cant replace nei.

In reference to braddock independent, their show is entitled "Gods Lonely Man". After looking up where that quote came from it appears that their show is about Robert de niros breakout film "taxi driver". Their floor design is a picture of blurred car lights with rain drops on a wind shield as if he was looking out his windshield. That's not it. They have no tempo. The entire show is to the words of Roberts voice. If you haven't seen the movie, he narrates the the story through his diary entries. Ist a well designed show with 38 members on the floor. It's exciting to see the talent there too. They're definitely a power house this year and should be watched whenever the chance comes. They're definitely not a "let's go get a hot dog" show.

watch out for braddock. i think people will be pleased with the mature change they have went through with this years show
