  1. With the holidays behind us, Blues Inc will resume practice starting Jan 21st at Community Building in Johnsonburg, PA. We are still looking to fill all sections: brass, guard, or drumline. The last full practice of 2006 was very encouraging and hopefully we can continue that into the new year. For more info or to contact some one from the corps, check out the website.
  2. We where REALLY pleased with the turn out.
  3. Awesome practice for our first official open house. ^OO^ A very nice foundation to build upon... Oh, nice piece of music by Dan. I know everyone was pretty excited when we left practice!
  4. Jeff, Most of us are from the North Central counties (Elk, McKean, Jefferson ect) in PA. The majority of us are a re-orginazation of the Johnsonburg Diplomats (before my time)/Grey Knights. We have some new guys and some new blood with some new ideas. We hope to put a out a good product of a drum and bugle corps, whether on the street or as an Class A corps. We are still in the process of building the staff and from there we will move on. I hope this is a good introduction. Check out the site, if you have any more questions send Don an email.
  5. One week away from our first open house. We've had lots interest in the last few weeks and sounds VERY promising. We also may be releasing some staff announcements. Stay tuned!
  6. Bumping this to the top. Open House less than 2 weeks away.... B)
  7. A drum instructor/arranger has not been announced yet.
  8. It was a good practice. There were some new faces, and we where still missing some old faces. Next practice is Nov. 19th., we are planning an Open House. It looks like we will have some more new faces for that Sunday and hopefully we can get some more of the familiar folk back into the fold. If anyone out there is the least bit interested stop in and see us!!
  9. No doubt the bands in the Northern part of the state have been getting better. The guard programs have been doing well over the last few years and we've never had problems recruiting horns. The drumlines are now just up and coming and I've heard there are few local lines that are really decent. They still have a ways to go to reach the quality of the bands in your part of the state, but they definetly are getting better as time goes on.
  10. Hey if there is anyone interested in having a good time and playing some music, check us out. ^OO^ We are only a short drive from State College, Altoona, Indiana, Bradford, Olean, Butler, Jamestown ect...
